Poole has more than 40 years of experience in finance, both in the public accounting industry and as Chief Financial Officer, President and Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer of several major private and publicly held trucking companies. Most recently he joined EVE Partners LLC, an investment and merchant bank whose practice is focused exclusively on the transportation and logistics industry, as Senior Managing Director. Some of his former roles include: Partner-in-Charge of the Southeast Transportation Industry practice for Arthur Andersen & Co.; Chief Financial Officer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Allied Holdings, Inc., North America’s largest vehicle distribution company; Chief Financial Officer of Ruan Transportation Management Systems; and a Principal and Chief Operating Officer for the Reznick Group PC, a national public accounting firm.
